Hartwegs Wild Ginger  Marbeled Wild Ginger ranges from Southern Oregon into Northern California  extending south into parts of the Sierras. This type of Wild Ginger can be used sparingly to spice a tea and warm and increase circulation improving digestion as well. Should only be used in moderation somewhat toxic to the kidneys over time if used too much. Lovely low growing plant will spread laterally with rhizomes forming a dense mat over time . Plant in a moist shady site. Hardy to Zone 5
