West Indian hardy Lemon grass. The source of lemon grass oil used to flavor teas, ice cream, candy, pastries and desserts. Easy to grow and will produce a good crop of leaves to make tea ,add to potpourri and add to any dish for a fresh lemon flavorĀ  This is the variety of choice for those of you in colder climates where this variety may survive a milder winter outdoors and do well overwintered in a greenhouse .Much hardier than it's East Indian cousin .Full sun.
