Spotted Bee Balm (Monarda Punctata)

Yellow Dotted Mint. Originating from the southern and Eastern US, this unusual monarda can grow to 4 feet tall with inch long yellow blooms spotted with purple. The aerial parts are strongly aromatic with a spicy fragrance. Makes a nice addition to tea blends and the dried seed heads can be used in arrangements. Hardy perennial, which is very attractive to beneficial insects, bees and butterflies. Easy to grow and thrives in good garden soil. Prefers full to part sun. Hardy to zone 7.

A Note about Shipping Rates:

We apologize for the slight increase in shipping rates, but the rise in fuel prices continues to affect all carriers and we believe that UPS is THE MOST dependable choice for delivering healthy plants as quickly as possible.

Occasionally, customers ask us about priority mail as a shipping option but due to our extremely rural location, our tiny post office is simply not equipped to handle our shipping volume and it has been our experience that USPS is simply not as dependable for prompt and safe plant delivery.

We ship well established, healthy plants and we want them to look that way when they arrive at your doorstep and we truly believe that fast, efficient shipping is a worthwhile investment toward this goal.

Rates:

Our customers East of the Rocky Mountains must use UPS 3 Day Delivery to guarantee the arrival of healthy plants.

Remember To Include A Physical Address For UPS Delivery. No PO Boxes.

Our shipping rates for 2008 for 6-12 PLANTS are as follows:

WEST COAST:(CA, OR, WA): UPS GROUND: $14.50

West of the Rockies: (NV, ID, MT, CO, AZ, NM, WY, UT): UPS GROUND $17.50

East of the Rockies (All Other States): UPS 3 DAY SELECT $29.50

Please remember the minimum order is 6 plants, in any combination (for larger orders of over 12 plants, check with us by email or phone and we will give you a shipping quote).

Our plants are shipped between Mid-March and Mid-November. We guarantee our plants will arrive in good condition and will ship them to you as quickly as possible to minimize any setback from travel.
